Change impact assessment
A structured evaluation of which groups, processes, and systems a change affects and how deeply, used to prioritize change effort.
A change impact assessment identifies what a change touches — people, processes, technology, structure, and location — and scores the size of the shift for each. It answers "who is affected, and how much?" so effort concentrates where the change is hardest.
Impact assessments also surface change saturation, where a group is already absorbing more change than it can comfortably handle.
